Mathyoo (probably) goes to Salute 2013!

Hello,

a bit late with my post.

I just got new computer, as this one is totally messed up (sometime it doesn't start or it simply restarts for no apparent reason), so I am slowly switching files and such. I also have to study, play League of Legends again (haven't played since march!) and I even work...up to 6,7 pm, actually.
I am adding to my sculpts little by little, working on a graveyeard and am dead-slow with painting of 3 more WGF zeds, so I have nothing much to say.

In march, I was in London for the first time. I've really enjoyed it (albeit I was surprised at how rare actual englishmen are there :P). Few weeks after I came back everyone was talking about Salute and I was really sorry I didn't heard about that before, so I could plan my trip accordingly. So, I've just figured, if I'll hoard enough finances, which I should, I'll just get up there again  and this time somewhere around 20th of April, when Salute takes place. Vampifan, if you're still for it, and if it would be afordable to check the North, I'd gladly visit while I'm there! But well, that is all still far, so the main thing is, I have a goal to follow, heh!

Well, let that be it for today and hopefuly I will have something to show soon!

  2. Mathyoo, I'm still happy for you to come and visit me any time. Be warned however, that if you're travelling to the north east from London then travel costs are very expensive. Much as I'd love to attend a Salute convention, the price of travel puts me off every time.

    1. I've checked a bit and it seems to be around 35-40 pounds for train and a coach, but one travels 6 and other 8 hours. You guys have such a large country! :O

There also happens to be 6 pound coach rides, but those are extremely rare. Train sounds like the best option, if I'll have enough. And that means I could bring you something from Salute, hehe.

Are there any great sights around Newcastle?

  3. OOO you will most likely go to a salute before me! Prebooking the tickets may reduce the prices perhaps. Coaches aren't that expensive either

    1. Yes, I plan to just gather info until october or november and I would probably start making plan then, booking the flight and all. I am a nutjob for those things, so I think I'll need some help, hehe.

    3. Oh, will check it, I will probably have to go either NW or NE, not both, but Liverpool sounds nice. I love the Beatles! :P

    1. I only heard about those shows last year. I only gamed FOW and most of people here play FOW, warmachine and hordes, and GW games, so nobody was bothered by other companies. I fell in love with skirmish scale and various producers and always envyed all those cons! As London has pretty frequent conection, this one is probably the best and the most affordable to see in the end :)

We'll write a cool rules for your miniatures, Grekgame or something and you'll be able to be a gamer then! :D
